Job Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Nagpur, Nagpur Division. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The role involves managing desktop environments, providing technical support, and ensuring optimal workstation performance. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless IT operations within our organization.
Qualifications And Skills
- Proficiency in Windows Server Management (Mandatory skill) to efficiently deploy, support, and troubleshoot server-related issues.
- Expertise in Troubleshooting Hardware Issues (Mandatory skill), ensuring immediate resolution to minimize downtime and business disruption.
- Experience with Disk Imaging Tools (e.g., Clonezilla, Ghost) (Mandatory skill) to streamline the creation and deployment of system images.
- Understanding and administration of Active Directory for effective directory services, user management, and security policy configuration.
- Competence in Office 365 Administration, managing user accounts, permissions, and mailbox settings to optimize email and cloud services.
- Familiarity with Remote Desktop Support Tools to provide efficient remote assistance and solve technical problems from off-site locations.
- Knowledge of VPN Configuration to ensure secure remote connections and access to corporate resources.
- Understanding and application of ITIL Best Practices to enhance IT service management and align with organizational goals.
- Provide first-level support and troubleshooting across all desktop environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server setups and configurations to support business operations smoothly.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on multiple platforms and ensure systems are running efficiently.

- Create, deploy, and manage disk images for uniformity and efficiency across all systems and workstations.
- Support and maintain user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and manage Office 365 environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot VPN and network connectivity issues to maintain secure and seamless access for users.
- Apply ITIL principles to manage incidents and changes, ensuring continual service improvement and client satisfaction.
- Document technical knowledge, maintain support tickets, and provide clear communication to users and team members.
