Aufgaben
Job Summary:
The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing quality management systems on the shop floor of Module Suppliers and Extended Workbenches (EWBs) to ensure the quality of modules and aggregates supplied by EWBs to MBIL during different stages and/or in different areas of the production processes. The role holder is also responsible for reviewing quality concerns of local content supplied parts and their processes. Additionally, the Supplier Quality Engineer manages supplier quality for MB India suppliers, handles supplier rating, and maintains the MIS of the suppliers.
Location: Chakan, Pune
Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Management System Implementation:
• Implement quality management systems on the shop floor of Module Suppliers and EWBs.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures during different stages of production.
• Quality Assurance for Modules and Aggregates:
• Ensure the quality of modules and aggregates supplied by EWBs to MBIL.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of products during different stages of the production process.
• Identify and address any quality issues or non-conformities.
• Review of Quality Concerns:
• Review quality concerns of local content supplied parts and their processes.
• Analyze root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality and resolve concerns.
• Supplier Quality Management:
• 
  Manage supplier quality for MB India suppliers.
• Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Supplier Rating and MIS:
• Prepare and maintain supplier ratings based on performance on prescribed parameters.
• Compile and maintain the Management Information System (MIS) for suppliers.
• Generate regular reports on supplier performance and quality metrics.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical support to module suppliers for engine and transmission assembly and testing.
• Address and resolve technical issues and queries from module suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven track record of implementing quality management systems and managing supplier quality.
  

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Qualifikationen
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification is preferred.
