MCS team is seeking candidates for the following position based at the Gurgaon ASF office
Lead Specialist – Data Analytics & Insight
What can you expect?
Mercer’s Multinational Client Segment (MCS) is a global, cross-LOB structure dedicated to advising and servicing the company’s largest, most complex multinational clients. The team will support MCS’s growth efforts and operations by providing a wide range of services including research, reporting, graphic design and miscellaneous ad hoc support to facilitate global account management, business development activities, growth planning and monitoring, delivery of client projects and other initiatives. The team will work closely with senior stakeholders including Global Client Managers, Project/Program Managers and the MCS Leadership.
We are looking to hire a Lead Specialist in Multinational Client Segment team
The role will be responsible for providing secondary research, reporting and miscellaneous analytical work to support client management, business development, growth planning and monitoring, delivery of client projects and reporting deliverables, and mentoring junior colleagues.

We will count on you for:
  • Provide secondary research, reporting and miscellaneous analytical work to support client management, business development, growth planning and monitoring, and delivery of client projects
  • Produce research deliverables by identifying appropriate sources; collecting, analyzing, and synthetizing information; drawing insights and conclusions; producing visually effective documents
  • Provide market intelligence services to both internal as well as external stakeholders on topics including (but not limited to) client profilers, industry overview decks, strategic benchmarking, HR-related topics such as DEI, ESG etc.
  • Experience in financial management, quantitative research, market analysis, client profiling etc.
  • Produce reporting deliverables (e.g. on client relationships and revenue performance) by collating, analyzing and presenting internal information (typically sourced from financial reporting and CRM systems)
  • Work under limited supervision, both autonomously and as part of a project team
  • Oversee work of research analysts in the team and responsible for their professional development
Note: Applicants should be flexible working in European shift
What you need to have:
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze complex business information and draw insights
  • Exceptional analytical skills, good with numbers, critical thinking, and attention to details
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point, including ability to produce visually effective presentations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders effectively
  • Proactivity, ability to cope with uncertainty and work on ad hoc requests
  • Relationship and stakeholder management
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in an analytical environment
Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years’ overall experience in secondary research/consulting
Education:
  • MBA degree in Finance, or similar
