Brand & Communication Associate

Overview:

Merlin AI is handing its brand baton to you. Since launch, weve grown to 2M+ users by making advanced AI feel simple, useful and productive. Your job is to own the brand ethos and communicate it further to the end user, so anyone, anywhere, can boost their productivity with AI in their workflows.

Youll be the custodian of the brand voice, consistency, and reach across every touchpoint: product copy, social, email, push, and PR. If youre a hands-on storyteller who can translate technical features into everyday wins, were looking for you.

Core Responsibilities:

• Brand ownership: Immerse yourself in Merlins mission of democratising AI and be the internal point-person for all brand decisions.
• Social Media Plan and execute social media calendars (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) to grow an engaged community.
• Product messaging & copy: Craft crisp, benefit-led copy for product surfaces, lifecycle emails, mobile notifications, landing pages, and ads.
• Digital brand hygiene: Keep every public profile (website, app stores, help docs) on-brand and up to date.
• Campaign orchestration: Coordinate launches, promos, and partnerships, aligning design, product, growth, and support teams.
• Performance insight: Track reach, engagement, and conversion metrics; turn data into clear next steps.
• PR & thought leadership (nice-to-have): Build journalist relationships, draft press notes, and place Merlin in relevant AI conversations.
• 
  This is a hands-on role, so be ready to be the one-person army who owns right from strategy to final.

What Youll Bring:

• 2+ years in brand management, product marketing, or content strategy.
• A portfolio that shows you can own a brand end-to-end be it voice, visuals, and results.
• Fluency with AI tools (bonus points if youre big into the latest AI models and wait for OpenAI launches).
• Comfort juggling multiple projects in a fast-moving startup environment.
