Job Description
- Offers full ownership of operations for a major school project.
- Provides a high-impact leadership role with strong budget authority.
- Oversee all commercial activities for the school projects, including planning, procurement, and vendor management.
- Manage both Capex and Opex vendor engagements across construction, interiors, furnishings, and marketing-related expenses.
- Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing without compromising quality.
- Finalize contracts, monitor adherence to commercial terms, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Identify cost?optimization opportunities and drive financial efficiency in project execution.
- Collaborate closely with internal project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Track commercial performance, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of all project milestones.
- Build long-term vendor relationships while ensuring continuous improvement in procurement processes.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience: 8-10 years in commercial roles, especially within building, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Technical Expertise: Strong experience in vendor management, procurement, contract negotiation, and cost control for infra-related projects.
- Soft Skills: Negotiation, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and commercial acumen.
- Industry Preference: School, University, building & infrastructure-related industries.
