Job Description
- Opportunity to lead end-to-end IT in a global renewable energy company
- High-impact leadership role with both strategic ownership and hands-on execution
- Define and execute the organisations IT strategy, roadmap, and architecture aligned to business growth
- Lead a distributed IT team across geographies and manage vendor relationships, budgets, and performance
- Oversee IT infrastructure including M365, Azure, networking, helpdesk operations, and asset lifecycle
- Ensure robust data governance, backup management, and compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2
- Manage Operational Technology (OT) including SCADA, PLCs, data loggers, and plant-level systems (Must Have)
- Drive cybersecurity strategy including threat monitoring, SOC oversight, and incident response planning
- Lead AI adoption, automation initiatives, and integration across business applications (ERP, CRM, etc.)
- Act as a key business partner, enabling technology-driven efficiency and innovation across functions
The Successful Applicant
- Experience: Minimum 12 years in IT, including 4+ years in leadership roles
- Industry Background: Preferably renewable energy (solar/BESS) with exposure to OT/SCADA environments
- Technical Skills:
- Microsoft 365 and Azure administration
- Cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2 compliance)
- SCADA systems, PLCs/RTUs, and OT infrastructure
- AI tools deployment and automation (hands-on)
- SaaS integrations (NetSuite, Kyriba, SharePoint, Smartsheet, DocuSign, CRM)
- Scripting knowledge (Python preferred)

- Education: Degree in IT or related discipline
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing global teams with strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication
- Other Requirements: English fluency willingness to work across time zones
- Nice to Have: German/Dutch language skills experience with key SaaS platforms mentioned
