Act as subject matter expert in PFM, and collaborate with government and ecosystem partners to gather insights on technical, operational, and strategic aspects of the domain to aid in enhancing the specifications.
Create policy briefs/ whitepapers budgeting and planning efforts, revenue generation efficiency, quality of public expenditure, especially on public works management and social benefits delivery, linking outlays to efficiency and outcomes, as well as further use cases to implement
Help the state and central governments design programs to drive large-scale PFM reforms, and support the government agencies in institutionalising these reforms for long-term sustainability
Create and deliver a narrative for advocacy approach for digital PFM transformation
Represent the organisation at key forums such as conferences and seminars, and with key government players
The Successful Applicant
Masters degree or equivalent in economics, business administration, public administration, public policy, or other directly relevant fields
6 to 10 years of experience with government programs or advisory in public finance with consulting firms or non-profit organisations

Working knowledge of Government Financial Rules, procurement processes, budgeting, expenditure management
Prior knowledge of IFMIS, PFMS, Treasury and associated systems in the public finance sector across geographies is an added advantage.
