Reporting into the Chief Strategy Officer, in the role of an individual contributor, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate potential mergers and acquisition opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed financial models and valuations for potential transactions.
- Present strategic recommendations and M&A proposals to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends in the technology and B2B.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during transactions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful VP Strategy & M&A should have:
- 10-15 years of experience is required
- Candidates with strong academic background in MBA Finance/CA will be considered
- Proven expertise in Corporate Development, with a focus on strategic planning and M&A
- Comprehensive industry knowledge of technology, consumer or investment banking/PE sector will be required
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
