Test Script Development
. Using Python in a Linux environment write test script code supporting items in the current Enterprise SSD projects
. Modify existing scripts to resolve issues cause by defects in the script design/implementation or changes to the product requirements.
. Conform to documented OakGate test architecture and guidelines as applicable
. Test each script before delivery to ensure that it meets the Test Plan validation requirements
. Use the Triage Process below to investigate any initial test failures identified by the new scripts.
. Participate in meetings to discuss test development progress and issues.

Test Execution and Triage
. Create & Manage test plan defined for the qualification of SSD Firmware

. Use the Triage Process below to investigate any initial test failures identified by the new scripts.
. Participate in meetings to discuss test development progress and issues. Review test execution on each station
. Collect log files from failing stations

Test Environment Maintenance
. Modify/add test cases to the test plan based on product feature changes due to client requirements changes or Industry Standards changes.
. Test different SW version provided by Oakgate to ensure quality.
. Evaluate the tool and verify that it meets the identified requirement changes.

Education and Experience

• A bachelors or masters degree and 4+ years relevant experience
• Firmware and hardware testing experience.
• Python development experience.
• C/C++ embedded software development experience.
• Knowledge of test automation, testing methodologies, and test tools.
• Experience working in SSD Firmware/Validation teams
• Storage industry experience and experience with NVMe or SATA protocol
