Content Writing Intern

We are looking for a passionate and creative Content Writing Intern to join our Content & Video team. The role involves crafting compelling stories, donor communications, SEO-driven articles, healthcare content, campaign content, and other fundraising materials that inspire people to support meaningful causes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in storytelling, content marketing, SEO writing, social impact, fundraising communications, and digital content creation.

• Write and edit crowdfunding campaign stories based on beneficiary interviews and case details.
• Create SEO-driven blog articles, healthcare content, and educational resources to improve organic reach and audience engagement.
• Assist in creating video scripts, donor communications, newsletters, fundraising appeals, and website content.
• Conduct research to gather relevant information and context for campaigns and content pieces.
• Use AI tools for research, brainstorming, summarization, and information gathering. AI should support the research process, but original writing, storytelling, and final content creation should primarily be done by the intern.
• Create simple infographics, visual explainers, and content assets to support blogs, campaigns, and social media content.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Good storytelling, research, and interviewing skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO content writing and keyword optimization.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• 
  Comfortable using AI tools for research and ideation while maintaining strong independent writing and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, or similar tools.

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Prior experience in blogging, SEO content writing, healthcare content, college publications, or content creation is a plus.
• Familiarity with keyword research tools and SEO best practices is an added advantage.
• Basic design skills and experience creating infographics or visual content.
• Familiarity with Canva is a strong plus.

Duration: 6 Months

Compensation: This is a paid internship.
