Job description / Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced costume tailor to join our dynamic shared services entertainment team at the Miral Experiences theme parks. This role is crucial to maintaining the high-quality appearance of our performers across a wide range of live shows, character meet-and-greets, and special events. As a costume tailor, you will be responsible for the construction, fitting, alteration, and repair of a variety of costumes, ensuring that each garment meets design specifications, fits performers properly, and is durable enough for repeated use in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Construct and alter costumes according to design specifications and performance needs.
• Perform fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure comfort, mobility, and visual accuracy.
• Collaborate with costuming management to bring creative concepts to life.
• 
  Maintain and repair costumes as needed to ensure readiness for daily performances and special events.
• Maintain organized costume inventory, fabric, and notions stock.
• Ensure all costume work meets safety, performance, and cleanliness standards.
• Support backstage operations as needed, including dressing assistance, quick changes, and laundry.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in tailoring, costume construction, or theatrical wardrobe work.
• Strong knowledge of hand and machine sewing techniques, garment construction, fabric types, beadwork, and costume care.
• Strong pattern making skills for creating out-of-the-ordinary garments.
• Ability to work with industrial and domestic sewing equipment.
