Job Description
- The General Manager (Civil Engineer) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning to delivery. With a minimum of 12-20 years of experience in construction project management, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-value residential, commercial, or infrastructure developments. As a key member of the team, you will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple projects across different locations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
You will collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, site teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless coordination and compliance with structural design and statutory requirements. Developing and implementing SOPs, construction schedules, and material management systems will be essential to drive project success. Additionally, you will review and approve project budgets, BOQs, and cost estimations, while actively engaging in contract management, vendor negotiations, and subcontractor performance evaluations.
Your role will involve managing site progress reports, conducting risk assessments, and promptly addressing any issues that may arise during project execution. Leading a team of engineers, project managers, and support staff, you will be responsible for reporting key performance indicators, cash flows, and project profitability to senior management. Strong technical knowledge in civil engineering, construction techniques, and quality standards, along with proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, and AutoCAD, is crucial for this position.

Excellent leadership, team management, decision-making, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for effectively driving project outcomes. In-depth understanding of safety standards, RERA norms, environmental laws, and compliances will be advantageous. Experience in high-rise buildings, residential and commercial real estate projects is preferred for this role. This is a full-time position located in Pune, offering benefits such as health insurance and provident fund.
