Job Description

DGM Finished Goods Procurement (Pump & Solar Pump Division)
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 9-12 Years
Position Overview
The Finished Goods Procurement role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement of finished goods (Pumps & Solar Pumps) from vendors to ensure timely availability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance. The position plays a key role in ensuring supply chain continuity and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for finished goods
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms
- Build and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships
Procurement Operations


- Plan and execute procurement aligned with demand forecasts
- Ensure timely delivery of finished goods to warehouses
- Monitor vendor performance against quality, delivery, and cost KPIs
Inventory & Demand Alignment
- Coordinate with demand planning teams to align procurement plans
- Optimize inventory levels to balance availability and working capital
Cost Management & Optimization
- Conduct market analysis and price benchmarking
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality
- Strong understanding of commodity procurement and import buying
- Sound product knowledge of Pumps & Solar Pumps
Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation including POs, contracts, and supplier agreements
Qualifications & Skills
- BTech / BE in Engineering or Supply Chain Management (MBA preferred)
- 9-12 years of experience in Finished Goods Procurement
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, or web-based portals
- Analytical mindset with strong stakeholder communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
