Job Summary
One of our clients is hiring a Reconciliation & Accounting Specialist to manage their day-to-day financial accuracy. This full-time remote role is responsible for reconciling daily transactions, running reports, matching company sweep deposits, and ensuring that all financial records and profit & loss statements are accurate and up to date. This is a critical back-office position to ensure all money is tracked, balanced, and reported correctly across all office locations.
Key Responsibilities

• Run and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.

• Reconcile bank sweeps and company deposits against internal sales and transaction data.
• Match premiums, agency fees, NSD payments, and commissions to the appropriate accounts.
• Ensure accuracy of P&L statements and flag any inconsistencies or discrepancies.
• Work with managers and ownership to investigate and correct variances.
• Organize and maintain financial data in digital folders and internal systems.
• Prepare summary reports to highlight revenue, expenses, and trends.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of all financial records.

  Get Hired
  Strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reconciliation.
• Experience working with spreadsheets, CRMs, and accounting software.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Prior insurance or multi-location business accounting experience is a plus.
