Job Description
- Your role as a Product Specialist involves collaborating with the GPM, Operations, and GSOP Team to support the Product Life Cycle strategy and achieve or surpass financial goals. You will also assist the GSM with technical inquiries and pricing requests, as well as work with the GPM and marketing team on promotion and collateral activities.
In this position, your responsibilities will include serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing prompt responses to inquiries related to assigned products. You will conduct regular reviews of capacity versus demand, maintain demand/capacity metrics, and offer capacity loading analysis to the Product Management Team. Additionally, you will generate Salesforce reports to enhance the GPM's understanding of the current and future pipeline, propose strategies to expand capacity, and evaluate product competitiveness.
Furthermore, you will be tasked with reviewing and approving pricing requests for assigned products, monitoring pricing performance, and preparing written analyses and performance reports for the Product Management Team. You will also track significant pricing deal outcomes, forecast revenues, and assess corresponding capacity requirements.
Looking ahead, you may be involved in setting prices in SAP, identifying low-margin products for cost optimization, and collaborating with various teams to update product collaterals and ensure alignment with current product strategies. Additionally, you will conduct product training sessions, participate in roadshows, and engage in customer visits to promote products and seize business opportunities.
As a qualified candidate for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business. You should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management, sales, technical support, or project management within the electronic manufacturing industry, with a preference for at least 3 years of Product Management experience in global connector manufacturing.

To excel in this position, proficiency in English (spoken, written, listening), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is essential. Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are also required. Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, and Power Automate, as well as a background in business, finance, or accounting, will be advantageous. Moreover, a demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and a commitment to principled entrepreneurship will set you apart in this role.
