Software Engineer L

Job Summary
The Software Engineer I performs low complexity software development tasks related to both supporting or enhancing existing software applications/systems and creating new software applications/systems; the tasks are performed under constant supervision. The Software Engineer I is familiar with basic software development concepts, practices and procedures, able to apply them and learn more complex concepts. The tasks performed by the Software Engineer I may be similar to those performed by the Software Engineer II, but are performed with much more direction and assistance from a higher level position.
Primary Responsibilities

• Performs clearly defined software development tasks of low complexity.
• Participates in developing fixes or enhancements in existing applications/systems and/or new applications as specified.
• Understands and uses technical documentation.
• May perform system testing and/or other dutes as assigned.
