Job Description
- Conduct research to gather, analyze, and present the required information and data, to solve business problems and support strategic decision-making
- Develop strong understanding of developments in the sector, scope requirements, and perform strategic analysis, competitor analysis, sector analysis, and opportunity analysis
- Analyze information to create content for newsletters, articles, presentations, research reports, thought leadership, and other ad-hoc deliverables
- Work effectively with the team to deliver various technical and analytical reports and articles
- Ensure accuracy of content and theoretical consistency of financial thesis while adhering to the company guidelines, standards, and best practices
- Prioritize tasks to meet stringent deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
- Communicate with stakeholders, when needed, to understand their needs and requirements
Graduate/Post Graduate in finance/economics/business/other relevant disciplines
- Strong knowledge of analytical frameworks and financial concepts and terminologies
- Ability to dig deep for information on world wide web and databases such as Capital IQ, Factiva, Orbis, and Thomson Reuters
- Aptitude for analyzing highly technical subject-matter to identify and extract key and relevant information
- Experience in research and content writing, preferably in the financial services and financial technology domains would be a plus
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent in time management and multi-tasking, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and the ability to quickly adapt to using the required content management applications and platform(s)
