Job Description
- As a Senior Backend Python Developer with our client, you will play a crucial role in architecting systems that drive unforgettable moments in the live entertainment industry. Your focus will be on backend development in cloud-native environments, ensuring the scalability and reliability of services that handle millions of ticket transactions, booking workflows, and event data streams. You will lead the design and development of core APIs and backend services, making key decisions on microservices architecture, serverless applications, and event-driven infrastructure optimization. This position offers the opportunity to have a visible impact in a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on backend systems, particularly in Python, with a solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming.
- Proven track record in designing, building, and deploying high-scale RESTful APIs, distributed microservices, and serverless applications using AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, SQS, and RDS.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless applications for ticket sales, booking, and event services.
- Implement backend systems in Python, utilizing AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, SQS, AppSync, and RDS.
- Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for event data, inventory, and transaction records.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following modern software engineering best practices.
