Job Description
- As a Network Engineer at MKS based in Manesar, Gurugram, you will have the opportunity to work with the MKS IT Enterprise Infrastructure team, contributing to the development and support of IT network infrastructure and networking functions for MKS global network operations. Your role will involve collaborating with a diverse team in a dynamic and challenging environment, ensuring the continuous operation and enhancement of the network architecture.
Your key responsibilities will include designing and managing enterprise network architecture across data centers, campus, and branch environments using Cisco Nexus and Aruba switches, deploying and managing FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls, administering Forti Manager and Panorama for centralized firewall orchestration, and maintaining Aruba ClearPass for policy-based NAC and endpoint profiling. You will also oversee the deployment and support of Aruba Wireless Access Points, ensure network visibility and health using SolarWinds, and lead complex network troubleshooting activities across multi-vendor environments. Additionally, you will drive documentation, standards development, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure and scalable connectivity.
In terms of core technical competencies, you should have expertise in switching and routing technologies such as Cisco Nexus and Aruba CX Switching, as well as experience with firewalls and security platforms including FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA, and Juniper SRX. Your proficiency in access control and wireless technologies like Aruba ClearPass, Aruba Central, and wireless access points will be essential. Moreover, you should be familiar with monitoring and automation tools such as SolarWinds and ServiceNow to ensure effective network management and automation processes.
