Clinical Nurse Specialist - Urogynecology

Overview

To work as an autonomous practitioner and/or in collaboration with the treating physician and wider multidisciplinary team, to devise, implement, and follow up specialist treatment and management plans across the disease spectrum for patients within a specific group. To be a skilled practitioner providing expert clinical care using an extensive theoretical knowledge base and practical experience to underpin the role, while acting as a role model for delivery of expert care. To deliver specialist education to patients in relation to their specific disease to improve their disease status and their quality of life. To deliver specialist educational programmes to a range of healthcare professionals in relation to the specific disease, including medical, nursing and allied healthcare professionals. To lead research and audit within given specialty internally or across Mubadala Health.

Requirements

• Evidence of study at Msc level or has post-graduate within specialty

• Evidence of specific knowledge and skills within specialty

• Demonstrable experience in relevant specialty

• Significant post-registration experience

• Experience of managing own caseload in relevant specialty
