Mudrex is a global crypto-investing platform launched in 2018. Founded by Edul Patel & Alankar Saxena. Mudrex is a Y-Combinator backed enterprise simplifying crypto investing for retail and everyday investors. It is the worlds largest crypto index investing platform and aims to be the largest asset management platform in the world in the next few years. We are growing rapidly - today, the Mudrex fold is 1 Million strong and counting. What youll do here at Mudrex:
As a Junior Data Scientist, you will work on building real-time analytics, developing complex metrics, and optimizing financial strategies using high volume data. You will:

• Develop advanced metrics for monitoring and evaluating trading activity, settlement efficiency, and platform performance.
• Optimize composite variables using machine learning techniques to improve decision-making.
• Work extensively with SQL to extract and analyze large datasets efficiently.
• Leverage Python, R, and other analytical tools to generate insights from data.
• Create real-time dashboards using Grafana/Metabase for internal analytics.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration into microservices and trading engines.
• Work on financial and market risk modeling to optimize trade execution on centralized and decentralized exchanges.
  

What we are looking for in you:

• 1-3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or financial modeling.
• Strong expertise in SQL for data extraction and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in analytical languages like Python and R.
• Experience in machine learning and statistical modeling for metric optimization.
  
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Grafana, Metabase, etc.
• Understanding of financial/trading data is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  

Brownie Points if you:

• Have worked with financial data, market metrics, or trading analytics.
• Have experience building automated dashboards and reporting systems.
• Understand time-series analysis and real-time data processing.
