MultiBank.io is the regulated cryptocurrency exchange under MultiBank Group, offering a user-friendly platform for instant, secure trading including Bitcoin, Ethereum and more. As we expand our offerings in the cryptocurrency space, we are looking for a OTC Desk Associate to join the team.

Roles Overview

We are looking for a sharp, personable individual to join our OTC desk. Day to day, you will be the face of our fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat conversion service — meeting clients in person, converting their funds accurately and efficiently, and making sure every interaction leaves them wanting to come back.

This is not a back-office role. It sits at the intersection of financial services, sales, and client experience. The right person enjoys building relationships, has a natural ease with numbers, and takes quiet pride in getting every transaction right. You don't need to be a seasoned trader — but you do need to be someone clients trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive walk-in and appointment-based clients and guide them through fiat-to-crypto or crypto-to-fiat conversion transactions.
• Actively develop relationships with repeat clients remembering preferences, following up after transactions, and being the person they call when they're ready to convert.
• Identify opportunities to upsale: introduce new services, suggest better-suited products, and flag high-value clients to senior management.
• Provide real-time indicative rates, explain pricing clearly, and complete transactions with accuracy and speed.
• Record transaction details and ensure full compliance with internal AML/CFT policies.
• Confirm on-chain transfers, validate TxHash references, and reconcile daily transaction logs.
• 
  Coordinate with back-office and treasury to ensure liquidity is in place and settlements are processed on time.
• Flag unusual activity or discrepancies to the compliance team promptly.
• Maintain accurate daily records and contribute to end-of-day reconciliation reports.
• Stay informed on current crypto/fiat rates, market movements, and relevant regulatory updates.
• Own the end-to-end client experience at the desk from first greeting to post-transaction follow-up.
• Handle complaints and escalations with composure; resolve issues quickly and leave the client feeling heard and taken care of.
• Gather informal feedback and share recurring themes with management to improve desk processes and service quality.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming desk environment that reflects the trust clients place in us.

Qualification & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong numerical confidence: comfortable working with rates, margins, and conversions quickly and accurately.
• A natural people person: warm, professional, and able to build rapport across different client profiles.
• Sales-minded: you understand that service and sales go hand in hand, and you're motivated by growing your client base.
• High integrity and discretion — this role handles significant sums of cash and digital assets on behalf of clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail; able to stay sharp and accurate during busy periods.
• Basic familiarity with crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT, wallets, blockchain) — or a genuine willingness to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in Excel or transaction management platforms.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage given our client base.
• Strong BD and Sales background.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in OTC trading, currency exchange, private banking, or a client-facing financial services role.
• Exposure to compliance processes (KYC, AML, CFT) in a regulated financial environment.
• Existing network of HNWI or corporate clients with crypto or FX conversion needs.
• Having a personal book of contacts and contribute to client retention low churn on your relationships is a metric we care about.
