Job Description

As a Makeup Artist at our modelling agency, your primary role will be to enhance and transform the appearances of fashion models using cosmetic products and techniques. You will work with various settings such as photography, film, television, and special events, applying makeup to clients and consulting on their desired looks. Additionally, you will collaborate with professionals like lighting directors and costume designers to ensure a cohesive overall appearance.

Your key responsibilities will include applying makeup using a variety of products and tools to create desired looks, matching skin tones, and enhancing facial features. You will consult with clients to understand their preferences and needs, creating tailored makeup applications accordingly. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is essential, which includes keeping tools and products in good condition while adhering to hygiene standards. It is also important to stay up-to-date with current trends, techniques, and product knowledge in the makeup industry.
Specific tasks that you will be responsible for include applying makeup for various purposes such as photography, film, television, stage productions, and special events. If required, you may also apply prosthetics, suggest skincare routines and products, and style hair in conjunction with makeup application. Working quickly and accurately under pressure, particularly in fast-paced environments, is crucial for this role.
