We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated actuarial professional who will support the Deputy Head of Pricing in the production of reinsurance quotes, pricing reports and designated projects for Life and Health department.

Your job

• Perform detailed actuarial analysis to price and monitor current Group and Individual Life portfolios in order to generate profits in line with targets.


• Develop a thorough and up to date knowledge of Munich Re, our Indian and Sri Lankan clients, life Insurance market in these counties and of major worldwide developments.


• Prepare reinsurance quotes for Individual and Group business.


• Support the Deputy Head of Pricing/ The Chief Actuary in the delivery of allocated projects, relating to Actuarial activities.


• Assist in development of pricing research and review of pricing parameters.


• Assist in development of analytical tools and actuarial models to help obtain maximum value from available information.


• Assist in Production of quality internal management information and reports to assist the decision-making process.
  


• Adhoc activities – liaise with claims, fac underwriters, client managers periodically

Your profile

Education & Experience

• Actuarial student with good progress in the actuarial exams.


• Strong commitment to complete the Actuarial course.


• 2-3 years of experience in a direct life/ reinsurance office.


• Should know how to work on MS excel, VBA, SQL, Axis


• Knowledge of individual and group risk products in the Indian market, including product features, benefits, capital adequacy requirements and reserving approaches would be added advantage
