Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on, analytical, first-principles-driven Sales Operations Lead to own the sales tech stack, CRM architecture, reporting, forecasting, and sales process excellence. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with the mandate to build the foundation for a scalable RevOps org at Murf. You will work closely with Sales Leadership, BDRs, AEs, CS, Finance, and Marketing to streamline data, improve pipeline quality, enhance forecasting accuracy, and drive sales productivity.

Location: Remote (2 PM 10 PM IST)

Function: GTM Sales Operations

Key Responsibilities

CRM, Data Hygiene & Process Architecture (Must-Have)

  • Own HubSpot end-to-end: data structure, properties, automations, workflows, and governance.
  • Rebuild and maintain clean CRM processes for inbound, outbound, and sales-assist motions.
  • Develop lead routing rules, qualification processes, lifecycle stages, and SLAs.
  • Ensure data cleanliness, deduplication, field hygiene, and audit processes are in place.

Reporting, Forecasting & Insights

  • Build full-funnel dashboards across Marketing ? BDR ? AE ? CS ? Revenue.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly insights on pipeline health, conversion rates, win-loss trends, and performance benchmarks.
  • Own forecasting models, pipeline inspection routines, and reporting cadences with Sales leadership.
  • Conduct territory, capacity, and productivity analyses.

Lead Scoring & Funnel Optimization

  • Build and refine ICP-based lead scoring (usage, intent, firmographics, behaviour).
  • Improve the handoff between Marketing ? BDR ? AEs to increase conversion efficiency.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process or workflow improvements.

Sales Automation & Tooling

  • Manage HubSpot, Mixpanel data connectors, Stripe integrations, Clay, Lemlist, and other sales tools.
  • Deploy and optimize AI agents to automate tasks across prospecting, onboarding, and account management.
  • Implement automation across lead capture, enrichment, routing, scoring, and sequence triggers.
  • Evaluate new tools and build the sales tech roadmap.

Compensation, Attainment & Governance

  • Own quarterly target attainment calculations for AEs, BDRs, CSMs, and AMs.
  • Work with Finance to ensure payouts are accurate, timely, and audit-ready.

  • Help design comp structures aligned with productivity and revenue goals.

Sales Enablement & Playbooks

  • Build onboarding flows and documentation for new AEs, BDRs, and AMs.
  • Develop process playbooks, objection-handling guides, qualification frameworks, and workflow documentation.
  • Run periodic training sessions on tools, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 58 years of experience in Sales Operations / Revenue Operations in SaaS companies.
  • Deep hands-on experience with HubSpot/Salesforce (required).
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel, Stripe, Clay, Lemlist, or similar GTM tools.
  • Experience with building agentic AI systems (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) and integrating AI/LLM-powered workflows into GTM teams (e.g., using Copy.ai, ChatGPT, Jasper, Claude, etc.)
  • Strong comfort with APIs, webhooks, and data workflows (e.g., Zapier, n8n, Make, Retool, or custom Python scripts)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in manipulating data for insights.
  • A builder mindset able to go from zero-to-one on processes, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, CS, and Finance.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems using first-principles thinking.
  • High bias for action, resourcefulness, and willingness to get your hands dirty.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
