Head-MIS

Job Title: Head – MIS (Management Information Systems)

Location: Gurgaon (HO / Project Sites as required)

Reporting To: Chairman

Role Objective

To lead, design, and institutionalize a robust MIS framework across projects and corporate functions, enabling data-driven decision-making, real-time reporting, and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. MIS Strategy & Governance

• Develop and implement a centralized MIS architecture across all projects and departments
• Define MIS policies, reporting formats, dashboards, and standardization protocols
• Ensure alignment of MIS systems with business goals, project timelines, and leadership requirements

2. Project MIS & Reporting

• Oversee preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports across all project sites
• Track key project parameters: cost, timelines, manpower, procurement, billing, and progress
• Ensure real-time visibility on project performance and flag deviations proactively

3. Data Analytics & Decision Support

• Convert raw project and operational data into actionable insights for leadership
• Build dashboards for project health, cash flow, resource utilization, and productivity
• Support management in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis

4. Systems & Automation

• Drive digitization of MIS through ERP / project management tools
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual reporting and improve accuracy
• Integrate multiple data sources (site, finance, contracts, procurement) into unified reporting

5. Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with Project Heads, Planning, Contracts, Finance, and Procurement teams
• Ensure timely data flow from sites and validate accuracy of inputs
• Act as a bridge between operations and leadership for data-driven reviews

6. Compliance & Data Integrity

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all MIS reports
• Establish audit mechanisms and checks for data validation
• Maintain historical data for benchmarking and future planning

7. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor MIS teams across HO and project sites
• Define KRAs, monitor performance, and build capability within the MIS function
• Establish a culture of accountability and data ownership

Required Skillset

• Strong understanding of real estate / construction project lifecycle
• Expertise in MIS tools, Excel (advanced), Power BI / Tableau / ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
• Ability to work with senior leadership and influence decision-making
• High attention to detail with a strategic mindset

Experience & Qualification

• 10–15+ years of experience in MIS / Planning / Project Controls
• Prior experience in PMC / real estate / infrastructure sector preferred
• MBA / Engineering / Finance / Data Analytics background preferred
