Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions to support accounting, taxation, and compliance workflows

• Build and optimize internal tools and client-facing applications for GST, financial reporting, and data management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, audit, and finance professionals) to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Develop APIs and integrate third-party systems such as GST portals, financial platforms, and databases

• Ensure application performance, security, and data integrity across systems

• Automate repetitive processes such as tax calculations, report generation, and reconciliation workflows

  

• Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing systems to improve functionality and user experience

• Maintain proper documentation of code, systems, and processes

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 2–5 years of experience in software development

  Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)

• Experience with web development frameworks and RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Experience in fintech, accounting software, or tax-related systems is an added advantage
