About The Role
The Account Manager will support the Retail Portfolio within the Exhibitions & Conferences division, working across key events including Gifts India and MAPIC. The role centers on sponsorship sales and managing relationships with mall developers, retail brands, CEOs, CXOs, and high-net-worth executives.
Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing comprehensive sales plans to exceed revenue targets across all revenue lines with a focus on face to face and digital opportunities for each of your clients
  • Leading sponsorship-focused sales initiatives.
  • Engaging with mall developers, retail brands, CEOs, CXOs, and high-value executives.
  • Building and maintaining relationships across retail, real estate, and luxury sectors.
  • Supporting commercial success of Gifts India and MAPIC events.
  • Map and target prospects from real estate developers, retail BD teams, mall leasing teams, and luxury B2B brands.
  • Contributing to the preparation and development of all sales promotions material to encourage visit promotion
  • Produce new sales initiatives for maximum client retained and acquired.
Requirements
  • Possess a proven track record of Sponsorship sales with minimum 8-12 year of experience preferably from retail exhibition
  • Be a team player and display good communication skills and able to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience handling CXO/HNI clients with Knowledge of retail industry and related business models.
  • Able to travel as needed for accounts within India/assigned territory
  • Demonstrate great networking and successful negotiation skills
  • A Can-do attitude, strategic mindset, and solution orientation.
