Job Description

About the Role:

The Principal Associate-Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the Enabling teams. This role will serve as a strategic advisor and HRpartner to business leaders, helping to driveperformance, engagement, compliance, and culture.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. StrategicBusiness Partnership
  2. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership,influencing business strategy through people insights.
  3. Anticipate future workforce trends and proactively design HR strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
  4. Drive organizational transformation initiatives (e.g. restructuring, workforce planning, change management) atscale.
  5. Serve as the primary HR liaison for executive leadership, ensuring alignment betweenenterprise priorities and functional execution.
  6. Employee Experience & Relations
  7. Shape and embed organizational culture through enterprise wide engagement programs.
  8. Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues, ensuring riskmitigation and compliance.
  9. Performance Management
  10. Drive talent management strategy, including succession planning for critical roles and leadership development.
  11. Manage annual and mid-year reviews, feedback processes, and promotion cycles in alignment with timelines.
  12. Resource Management
  13. Monitor headcount, analyze attrition trendsand maintain accurate employee data. Leverage predictive analytics to forecast talent needs and mitigate attrition risks.
  14. Partner with Talent Acquisition to close open positions and conduct HR interview rounds.
  15. Work closely with the L&D team to identify skill gaps and support capability-building efforts.
  16. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
  17. Ensure enterprise-level compliance with labor laws, regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
  18. Lead audits and risk assessments related to HR processes and employee relations.
  19. Act as a key contributor to policy formulation and HR frameworks, while aligning with business-specific requirements.

  1. HR Generalist Expertise: Strong understanding of core HR processes and policies;ability to be a catalyst for change.
  2. Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the business environment and priorities.Analytical Thinking: Comfort with large data sets, ability to draw insights,and make data-driven decisions.
  3. Influence & Communication: Ability to collaborate and influence without authority;
  4. clear communication skills.
  5. Advanced Analytics: Ability to interpret complex data sets and influence decisions.

Key skills & Attributes

Education:

MBA from a reputed Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute.

Experience:

  1. 6-10 years of relevant HRBP experience, preferably in fashion,retail, or e-commerce.
  2. Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.
  3. High attention to detail and strong decision-making skills

Domain Skills :

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thinkstrategically and translate insights into actionable plans

2. Excellent project management capabilities, including managing timelines,budgets, and resources

3. Proficiency in driving cross-functional initiatives and executive-level communication
