Job Description

Note, this is an Individual Contributor role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring that the AOM methodology and disciplines align with the broader enterprise standards, and uplifts as the enterprise model continues to mature.
  • Aom Deliverys -Facilitate both group and 1:1 session in the roll out of performance excellence and active operations management resulting in achievement of certification within the AOM methodology
  • Actively provide feedback to leaders on operational effectiveness opportunities thus uplifting capability and effective metric management
  • Engage and develop strong relationships with team leader and up to Head of levels within NAB
  • Supporting NAB leadership team and executive management with effective and insightful management information
  • Driving AOM data curiosity across NAB, ensuring insights are identified with resulting actions committed and benefits realized
  • Managing Requests for Change across the enterprise

Essential capabilities

  • Extensive experience (knowledge and successful practical application) of AOM using Workware / Control IQ
  • Learning agility: will be required to quickly establish deep understanding different business units and internal processes
  • Advanced data analytics skills: ability to interrogate data for key insights and recommendations.
  • Experienced in senior stakeholder engagement; excellent oral & written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Delivery of targeted efficiency benefits that are attributed to improved management of operations (Reduced Cost Base, Improved Leader Maturity in Ops management improved Service outcomes.)
  • Results oriented with ability to manage multiple responsibilities with focus on quality and detail.

  • Ability to engage across the organization and influence outcomes.
  • Strong time management and ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical (Excel) and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

8- 12 years of total experience and Min 2 years of AOM experience is essential including:-

  • Initial deployment of AOM disciplines
  • AOM line management
  • AOM Practitioner Certified (or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience in leadership coaching role
  • Experience in Operations leadership role

Active Ops Management Banking and Finance experience/certification (not essential but

preferred) Team Leader experience in Operations
