Associate Staff Engineer- QA (Tosca)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience 5+ years
• Strong experience in TOSCA, Java, Appium, API Testing, Rest Assured, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Hands-on expertise in TOSCA automation for UI, API, Mobile, and DB testing.
• Experience in TOSCA Test Case Design, Test Execution, Requirement Mapping, and Test Data Management (TDM).
• Ability to design, maintain, and optimize TOSCA automation frameworks using reusable Test Step Blocks, Test Case Templates, and Components.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Test Automation (MBTA) concepts and best practices.
• Strong understanding of TOSCA modules such as XScan, TBox, API Scan, DEX, and integration with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, etc.).
• Exposure to Distributed Execution (DEX) and parallel test execution in TOSCA.
  
• Experience integrating TOSCA with ALM/QTest/Jira for requirements, execution, and reporting.
• Proficiency in scripting with Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, VBScript, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with automation and testing tools like UFT, Test Complete, Katalon Studio, Appium, Coded UI, Protractor, and Selenium.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, NUnit, TestNG.
• Hands-on with Cucumber or SpecFlow for BDD, and writing test scenarios in Gherkin.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify and report defects.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end automation using TOSCA across UI, API, DB, and Mobile.
• Build scalable and maintainable TOSCA automation frameworks, ensuring reusability and efficiency.
• Conduct TOSCA Test Case Design workshops and enforce best practices across the team.

• Set up and manage TOSCA workspaces, TDM services, and distributed execution agents.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to implement continuous testing pipelines using TOSCA.
• Drive automation strategy and adoption of TOSCA across multiple projects.
• Understand functional and non-functional requirements thoroughly to design test approaches and automation coverage.
• Participate in code/design reviews, ensuring automation alignment with project goals.
• Support UAT and production rollouts by creating and executing regression packs.
• Create, validate, and manage WBS and effort estimates for assigned tasks/modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues in TOSCA and other tools.
• Carry out POCs on new TOSCA features (Vision AI, BI testing, API Scan enhancements) and recommend adoption.
• Generate, maintain, and share comprehensive test execution reports.
• Provide constructive feedback, guide junior team members, and set clear expectations.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve automation processes and efficiency.
