Nagarro are supporting a major international financial institution as it builds a new global data capability and scales its Data Office function across multiple regions.

This is a unique opportunity to join at a formative stage and help shape the future operating model, governance framework, delivery structure and strategic roadmap for a globally distributed data organisation.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across Data, Technology, Operations, Risk and business functions, you will play a key role in establishing how data services are governed, prioritised, delivered and scaled across international markets.

What youll be doing

• Helping define and evolve the operating model for a growing enterprise data function.
• Supporting the development and execution of data strategy, governance and transformation initiatives.
• Establishing effective governance structures, decision-making forums and performance reporting frameworks.
• Driving demand management, prioritisation and resource planning across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Translating strategic objectives into practical delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
• Working closely with regional and global stakeholders to align priorities, capabilities and delivery commitments.
• Building frameworks for service management, KPIs, SLAs and operational performance.
• Supporting large-scale transformation programmes across data governance, data quality, analytics, controls and data management disciplines.
• Providing oversight of programme execution, dependencies, risks and delivery milestones.
• Helping drive standardisation, scalability and continuous improvement across the wider data organisation.
• Contributing to the ongoing build-out of a global shared services and data delivery capability.

• Ability to operate effectively in complex, global and highly matrixed organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across business, technology and operational functions.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations across global markets (ECB, Federal Reserve Bank, Operational Resilience, BCBS 239).
• Knowledge of data platforms: Collibra, data catalogues, lineage tools, data quality tools, and data platforms.
• Understanding of global operating models, shared services design, KPIs/SLAs, and service management.
• Experience designing, implementing or improving governance and operating model frameworks.
• Understanding of enterprise data management disciplines including governance, quality, metadata, lineage and controls.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational capability.
• Experience managing competing demands, resource allocation and delivery commitments.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation or change initiatives.
• Strong communication, reporting and executive presentation skills.
