Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Executive who will be responsible for tracking sales performance, monitoring revenues, and ensuring seamless coordination between the sales and finance teams. This role will involve collecting, verifying, and analyzing sales reports, tracking revenue inflows, and measuring key sales performance indicators (KPIs & KRAs). The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and be detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Reporting & Revenue Management:- Collect, verify, and consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports from the sales team.
- Track day-to-day revenues, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconcile sales data with financial records and identify discrepancies.
- Ensure revenue figures comply with company policies and financial regulations.
- Assist in financial forecasting and revenue trend analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate sales team performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Result Areas (KRAs).
- Generate performance reports for management to assess team productivity and efficiency.
- Track individual and team-based sales targets and highlight variances.
- Work closely with sales managers to set benchmarks and improve sales strategies.
- Identify underperforming areas and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Act as a liaison between the sales and finance teams to streamline data sharing.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, payment tracking, and revenue reconciliation.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation.
- Maintain financial records related to sales, collections, and commissions.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales finance, reporting, or revenue management.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and financial reporting tools.
- Understanding of sales KPIs, revenue tracking, and financial compliance.
