As a Product Specialist, you will play a key role in the design and conception of complex functional solutions to new and existing customers and will be part of the FinTech industry.
We are now looking for a Product Specialist to strengthen the Product Management team in Mumbai. You will be responsible for enhancing the Nasdaq Calypso post trade solution and enrich the product roadmap.

With this position we offer
Join the Product Management organization of Nasdaq. The main objective for the team in Mumbai is to build first class Post Trade processing solutions. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for designing of enhancements and maintaining the functional part of the software in the Back Office space.
Your role and responsibilities:
Improve the post trade solution and enrich the product roadmap.
Capture and prioritize inputs from market analysis, sales demands, and team ideas to ensure that the roadmap matches the market requirements, and we are competitive and building the right things at the right time.
Working closely with clients to agree on Business Requirement Documents
Working very closely with the Engineers to design the accurate solutions and with the Quality Assurance team to develop test cases
Write detailed functional requirements and specifications and work with the development team to design and build the accurate solutions- carry out functional testing of developed solutions.
Collaborate in product launches to provide key messages, competitive profiling and product content for marketing.
Build product documentation and marketing collateral for sales, prospects and customers.
Participate in the sales process and advocate for new features by demonstrating the product to clients and presenting the product roadmap.
Provide professional expertise and product knowledge to internal groups (Sales, Professional Services, Training and Documentation), customers and partners.
We expect you to have:
Good knowledge of back office / post trade processing (including SWIFT, regulatory reporting, accounting, fees & commissions, lifecycle, corporate actions, securities, inventory, cash management, position management etc.)
Knowledge of Accounting or Corporate Actions or Front Office (P&L calculation) is a nice to have.
Experience In Operational Processes For The Back-office Department.
Knowledge in bank back-office processing would be desirable.
Education Qualification
- Education Required: Degree qualified in Computer Science, Business/Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Is working towards or has graduated with a post graduate degree in Finance.
- Experience Required: At least 7 years.
- Savvy and able to work independently.
- Must be a fast learner, self-motivated, team player, and collaborator
- Good oral and written communication skills are essential
