Job Details/ Criteria
Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility:
- Preparation of period financial statement, overview financial accounting, manager collection and payable and use best practice of accounting
- Understanding and knowledge of standard procurement norms and able to adhere to procurement planning and compliance
- Lead the design, documentation, communication, and implementation of NASSCOM’s compliance framework
- Develop and drive compliance culture for all departments by ensuring that users are updated and comply on relevant laws and regulations
- Responsible for the development and compliance to all finance policies and processes and continuous assessment of internal controls
- Ensure up-to-date and regular review of policies, processes and procedures that are in line with any changing regulation or laws
- Responsible for all grant and no grant related compliances in line with MoU guidelines, procedures and other regulations
- Drive improvements to business process controls through automation /operational efficiency/ cost savings as requested by management
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure audit recommendations are implemented.
- Track and monitor progress toward remediation of internal control gaps; identify mitigating controls
- Recommend and support implementation of control enhancements in cases where control weaknesses are determined.
- Regular performance metrics reporting according to senior Management
- Raise awareness of key risks and provide/initiate training on compliance requirements to control owners in the organization

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
- A postgraduate degree in finance, accounting, or similar field. An advanced degree is preferred
- At least 8 years’ of demonstrated experience on managing compliances / internal controls and improving finance processes
- Experience of writing, documenting and flowcharting policies and procedures specifically finance policies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with all teams
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Prior experience with Non-Profit organization is desirable
