Job Summary
The Education Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process and helping them select appropriate IT courses based on their career goals, qualifications, and interests. This role involves counseling, relationship-building, lead management, and ensuring enrollment targets are met.
Key Responsibilities

• Student Counseling:
• Provide detailed information about IT courses such as software development, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and others.

• Counsel students (in person, over the phone, and via email/chat) on career options and course suitability.
• Understand students academic and career goals to offer tailored guidance.
• Admissions and Enrollments:
• Handle walk-ins, inbound/outbound calls, and inquiries.
• Follow up with leads and convert them into admissions.
• Guide students through the enrollment process, including documentation and payment.
• Lead Management:
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and leads.
• Track and manage leads generated through various sources (digital, events, referrals, etc.).

  Meet or exceed monthly enrollment targets and contribute to revenue goals.
• Collaboration Reporting:
• Coordinate with marketing and training teams for promotional activities.
• Provide regular reports on admissions, lead status, and conversion rates to the reporting manager.
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelors degree in any field
• 1-3 years of experience in counseling, sales, or customer service (education sector preferred)
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of IT-related courses and current technology trends
• Ability to handle pressure and meet targets.
