Associate Director/Director - Business Consulting & Transformation - BFSI - Big 4 - IIM/ISB/SPJIMR/JBIMS/FMS

Role Overview
We are hiring for a client-facing strategic consulting role in a Big 4 firm, for managing leading Indian banking client. This role is ideal for tenured Associate Directors / early Directors from top consulting firms who bring strong expertise in business strategy and transformation within the BFSI sector (non-technology focus).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business consulting engagements across the Indian Banking / Financial Services sector
- Drive business strategy, GTM strategy, and transformation initiatives (financial, digital, and commercial - non-technical)
Deliver end-to-end consulting projects, including:
- Problem structuring
- Market assessment & due diligence
- Strategy formulation and execution roadmap
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders
- Lead client interactions and presentations, ensuring high-quality delivery
- Mentor team members and contribute to practice development
Key Requirements
Experience
- 8-12 years of total experience with 8+ years in management consulting

- Currently working as Manager / Senior Manager / Tenured AD / Early Director
- Experience with firms like Accenture, Big 4, BCG or similar consulting organizations
Domain Expertise
Strong exposure to:
- Indian Banking sector
- Financial Services consulting
Hands-on experience in:
- Business Strategy
- GTM Strategy
- Transformation (financial, operational, commercial)
- Due diligence / market assessment
- Strictly non-technical consulting background (avoid pure tech / IT transformation profiles)
Education
MBA from Premier B-Schools preferred:
- IIMs / ISB / SPJIMR / JBIMS / FMS
Other Requirements
- Tamil language proficiency (basic level mandatory) due to client interactions
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, consulting-driven environment
