The IZOT product line includes BMCs Intelligent Z Optimization & Transformation products, which help the worlds largest companies to monitor and manage their mainframe systems. BMC is looking for an Experienced QA Engineer to join a IMS team working on complex and distributed software, developing test plans, executing tests, developing automation & assuring product quality.
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMCs and your own success:

• Mainframes preferably exp in IMS
• Youll be Quality Analyst, working on tricky problems that need careful analysis, research, and testing.
• Youll collaborate with different BMC product teams.
• Your job involves managing many tasks, testing new features, suggesting improvements, and keeping products working well.
• Youll talk to different teams to help customers with issues. Your main goal is to make sure our software is top-notch, works efficiently, and gives users a great experience.
• Youll plan how to test things and keep records of the results.
• Youll work with other Developers and other QA team members to check if the product works correctly, either by doing tests manually or using automated tools.
• 
  Were trying to automate as many tests as possible so that they can be done the same way each time. This way, QA Engineers can focus on improving the tests and making them better over time.
  

Youll also keep track of your test results
To ensure youre set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• Strong in IMS
• Strong in REXX and CLIST.
• Strong skills in JCL, VSAM, DB2, JES2/3, SDSF, and ISPF.
• Excellent diagnostics and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficient in testing and implementing mainframe applications on IBM z/OS.
  

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

• Proficient in Automation tools like Jenkins, Hiperstation, TPNS, Selenium, Robot Framework
• Experienced in building automation frameworks.
• Able to automate applications on different Angular versions (12 or higher)
• Knowledge of Test Track and JIRA tools
