About the role:

To be a technical leader for BASE24 team and be a lead in driving multiple Platform enhancement projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Platform Enhancement Projects.
• Ownership of the complete BASE24 Platform enhancement projects implementation until Production deployment.
• Should drive these projects from initiation phase to Production deployment.
• Perform Code review of the Base24 projects.

• Asses the risk associated with the testing and establish risk mitigation plan.
• Should be able to assess and evaluate various tools/products perfectly suitable for NI environment for managing the Projects effectively.
• Ensure proper Processes are followed for quality delivery of the Project.
• Champion technical support in projects and developing a strong understanding of the projects impacting the BAU functionality thus ensuring quality delivery.
• Lead the BASE24 platform enhancement Team situated across the globe.
• Should be able to perform the periodic system review to ensure performance of the system is as per the standards.
• Support testing in all phases during the project development cycle.
• Should be up-to date with the new standards on payment & card industry and implement these standards proactively to ensure system is fully compliant with industry standard.

Qualifications

• Possess strong knowledge on system devices like BASE24-POS, BASE24-ATM, BASE24-eps, BASE24-TSS, HP NonStop systesm, XPNET: 3.X, Spannet, NCR 5XXX (NDC+), Remote Key Load, ISO8583-87 & -93, BASE24 BIC, MAKE, MFIX, TAL, COBOL, SCF Configuration of Disc/LAN/Adapters, TCPIP etc), Guardian OS , MEASURE.

  Should possess strong working knowledge on transaction Switches especially BASE24-Classic & BASE24-EPS. UPF would be added advantage.
• Meticulous in design, testing and implementation of ATM and POS systems using, primarily, BASE24 running on HP Nonstop, as a fault-tolerant and highly scalable hardware platform, handling substantial transaction volumes for global payments and technology companies.
• Technically astute, innovative and solution-driven Card Payments SME.
• Strong leader of large, multi-cultural onshore and offshore teams, sharing knowledge as an SME by building an understanding of systems end-to-end, supported by cryptography (having a detailed knowledge of cryptography used in the Payments Industry), disaster recovery and monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the company.
• Able to work well in small , collaborative team and fast paced environment
• Possess excellent knowledge on Oracle Goldengate (Active/Passive and Active/Active replication & HP NonStop.
• Should have working knowledge of Base24 architecture and components as XPNET configuration, Device Handlers, Authorization processing, Host and Interchange management.
• should have knowledge of VISA/MC/CUP/AMEX/DINERS interfaces (both issuing and acquiring processing)
• Should be able to single handedly do performance review of the HP-NonStop and BASE24 system.
• Should have knowledge of Agile Environment and worked on tools like Jira.
• should have knowledge of HP Nonstop/Tandem Guardian platform
• Legally able to work in the country in which the position is based.
