Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Manager / Senior IT Manager to join our team in Mumbai.
This role is crucial for managing our day-to-day technology operations and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a solid background in the Indian financial services sector.
You will be responsible for maintaining our IT systems, ensuring robust cybersecurity, supporting trading applications, and ensuring our technology practices are modern, efficient, and fully compliant with RBI Regualations.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Operations & Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the daily management of all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services.
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all critical systems, especially trading and settlement platforms.

- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Lead IT projects from planning through to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance:
- Implement and maintain a robust cybersecurity framework in accordance with the RBI's Master Direction on IT Framework for NBFCs.
- Manage cybersecurity initiatives, including threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Ensure the regular testing and maintenance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) mechanisms.
- Act as a key contact for IT-related regulatory audits and assist in compliance reporting to RBI and SEBI.
Application & Systems Support:
- Supervise the lifecycle and provide hands-on support for business-critical applications, including trading software and risk management systems.
- Partner with business teams to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions and support.
- Support the evaluation and integration of modern developer tools and AI-driven platforms to enhance business processes and automation.
- Assist in managing the company's data governance strategy to ensure data integrity and quality.
Team & Vendor Management:
- Lead and mentor a small team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.
- Manage vendor performance and contracts to ensure the company receives the best value and service.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in a team lead or IT management role.
- Domain Expertise: Mandatory experience in the Indian financial services sector is required.
- Preference for candidates from NBFCs, Banks, or Brokerage Firms.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong, practical understanding of the RBI's technology and cybersecurity framework is essential.
- Experience participating in RBI audits is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (networking, servers, virtualization, cloud computing).
- 2 Hands-on experience in managing cybersecurity programs and tools.
- Familiarity with capital markets trading platforms and related technologies.
- Knowledge of scripting languages
- Experience with BCP/DR planning and execution.
