Role & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Delivery

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI, Data Engineering, Analytics, and GenAI programs across multiple workstreams and portfolios.
• Translate client business objectives into scalable AI & data solutions, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
• Drive execution across data platforms (cloud, lakehouse, analytics, ML/AI) while maintaining delivery excellence and quality.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a senior client-facing leader for Wealth Management stakeholders, including technology, data, and business leadership.
• Lead or participate in governance forums, QBRs, steering committees, and executive updates.
• Build trusted advisor relationships by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and growth opportunities.
• Champion in tracking and presenting delivery metrics.

Program, Financial & Risk Management

• Oversee program governance, budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and contract adherence.
• Manage delivery risks, compliance requirements, and regulatory constraints specific to wealth/financial services.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

People & Talent Leadership

• Build and scale high-performing AI & Data teams across architects, data engineers, lead data engineers, TPMs, and analysts.
• Mentor senior leaders and managers, driving a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with TA and leadership to hire and retain critical skills across data , genAI and AI platforms.

Technology & Innovation

• Drive adoption of modern data architectures, cloud platforms and GenAI use cases.

Preferred candidate profile

• 18+ years of overall experience in technology delivery, with 8+ years in senior leadership roles managing large AI & Data programs.
• Strong experience delivering data engineering, analytics, and cloud-based platforms at enterprise scale.
• Deep understanding of wealth management / financial services domain, including data regulations and compliance.
• Proven track record of managing large offshore teams, multi-vendor environments, and complex client ecosystems.
• Expertise in Agile / SAFe delivery models, program governance, and executive stakeholder management.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, P&L, margin management, contracts, and resourcing.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior client and internal stakeholders.

Experience in BFSI/Wealth Management domain is a must
