Job Description
Role
This role will undertake Data & Analytics activities that will support Operational Excellence Directors, Managers and delivery leads in the delivery of OE services to internal business and performance units through
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
- Identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Determining the best way to represent the data visually to managers and stakeholders
- Produce modelling, charts and reporting to support analysis and diagnostics
- Support changes to existing dashboards and support new development of reports and dashboards
Required
- Data analysis skills, with experience working with complex data and large data sets
- Experienced at taking large volumes of data received from a multitude of sources and received in varying file formats e.g.: text files, Excel spreadsheets.
- Capability of using database query to extract and draw conclusion from data sets.
- Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, Python)
- Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Great computer skills and demonstrate proficiency in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, which will be necessary for the creation of both visually and verbally engaging reports and presentations,

- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, MiniTab etc)
- Ability to use relevant data analytics approaches and tools to problem-solve and trouble-shoot.
- Understanding banking financial products
- Understands ETL and Data storage structures (AWS, Azure) ?
- Understands Pega workflow + essential common data fields and table structure.
- Understands SDLC/Agile life cycle + Rally
- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt
- Signavio / Process Intelligence
