- Role Overview:
You will be a part of a global team at New Relic, dedicated to shaping the future of observability by building an intelligent platform that empowers companies to thrive in an AI-first world. As a passionate individual, you will have the opportunity to optimize digital applications for the world's best companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance New Relic's API Gateway using Elixir/ERLang to process all GraphQL API requests.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of APM API with a focus on high performance.
- Engage in cross-team collaboration on API gateway features.
- Follow SOLID principles and Clean Code practices to ensure maintainable, scalable, and efficient code.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Entry-level experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in Java.
- Understanding of API operations and basic governance concepts.
- Knowledge of scalable distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with API ecosystems, including security, performance, and transport requirements.
- Passion for exploring new technologies and solving complex problems creatively.
