Senior QA Automation Engineer
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong product and systems mindset. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in scaling and enhancing our automation frameworks, while driving quality across mobile, web, and API platforms.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile (Appium) and web applications (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
• Perform exploratory testing on web and mobile platforms to ensure high-quality releases.
• Execute and manage tests on real devices, emulators, and simulators.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, ensuring seamless backend integrations.
• Utilize tools like Charles Proxy (or similar) for network traffic analysis and debugging.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define and implement effective testing strategies.
• 
  Debug and troubleshoot issues across platforms, performing detailed root cause analysis.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across browsers, devices, and operating systems.
  

Skills And Experience

• 5+ years of experience with excellent communication skills and hands-on expertise in Appium and Java for mobile automation, web (Selenium or Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript or Playwright)
• Strong background in exploratory testing of both web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Android/iOS emulators and simulators.
• Solid understanding of web application testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in debugging using Chrome DevTools, mobile device logs, and similar tools.
• Proven experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman , GraphQL or similar tools)
• Good understanding of network debugging tools (e.g., Charles Proxy).
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for mobile and web (Selenium or Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript or Playwright).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

  Get Hired
  Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Experience in Performance/Load/ Accessibility testing.
• Exposure to Test Automation Frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or similar
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG and reporting tools like ExtentReports or Allure.(Good to have PageObjectModel or Hybrid Framework)
  

Preferred Skills

• ISTQB Foundation Certification
• Experience with WordPress testing or development
