Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall Plant Operations Management:

- Oversee and manage all plant activities, including production, formulation, packaging and distribution ensuring timely and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing costs.
- Ensure that plant operations align with company goals, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
2. Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, manage and mentor a diverse team including production staff, engineers, safety officer and quality control personnel.
- Provide guidance and training to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively.
- Set performance goals and track the progress of team members, ensuring alignment with plant objectives and overall company goals.
3. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA, GMP, PSM) for pesticide formulation and handling.
- Oversee regular safety audits, risk assessments and emergency response drills to mitigate workplace hazards and ensure employee well-being.

- Maintain strict compliance with environmental regulations, ensuring safe handling, storage and disposal of hazardous chemicals.
4. Quality Control and Assurance:
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that products meet required specifications and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and control the quality of pesticide formulations through continuous quality checks, inspections, and process adjustments.
- Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and continuously improve the manufacturing process.
5. Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, minimize waste, reduce downtime and increase product yield.
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements and technological advancements to enhance plant performance.
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track plant performance for continuous improvement.
6. Resource Management and Cost Control:
- Manage resources effectively including Casulas, raw materials, equipment and production capacity to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
- Develop and manage the plants budget, ensuring cost control measures are in place to minimize waste and optimize production costs.
- Work closely with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and reduce production delays.
7. Production and Maintenance Management:
- Ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained and functioning, coordinating with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Plan and oversee scheduled maintenance activities to prevent unplanned downtime and ensure plant reliability.
- Identify and address production bottlenecks, equipment issues and inefficiencies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
8. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, including updates on production metrics, safety incidents, quality control and financial performance.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of plant activities, including production logs, quality records and safety reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and ensure all required documentation is submitted on time.
9. Customer and Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams) to align production with customer requirements and demand forecasts.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as regulatory agencies, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations and compliance with industry standards.
Soft Skills:
Good in MS Excel, word and communication tools.
Pre Requisites:
- Minimum Technical Degree B.Tech/M.Tech Chemical / Mechanical engineering
- B.Sc/ M. Sc chemistry
- Minimum experience 12-20 Years at Argo Chemical/ Fine Chemical manufacturing units. Preparable 2-3 years as Site head/ Deputy General Manager/formulation lead position
- Good communicator English , Hindi & Telugu
- Willing to locate at Hyderabad location
