ABOUT THIS JOB
At NielsenIQ, Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) are strategic programs used to drive sales transformation and reward sellers for exceptional performance. Working together globally, our SIP Team is responsible for paying sellers timely and accurately utilizing sales compensation plans that are motivational and market competitive. The SIP System Senior Business Analyst is primarily responsible for designing and successfully delivering to the business the platform that enables the SIP Team to effectively administer plans consistently, with simplicity and transparency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use industry experience to gather and document thorough business requirements
- Prescriptively guide customers towards proven / recommended approaches to satisfying their business needs.
- Lead targeted requirements gathering sessions and author Requirements and Design documentation. Business requirements will include payout calculations, participant documentation, inquiry and workflow processes, as well as ad hoc and reporting deliverables.
- Create and maintain platform development roadmap and prioritize development of different features in the backlog based on business impact/team capacity
- Work with a team of developers to develop, test and release prioritized features of the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solution (IncentiveIQ or 3rd party software product)
- Enable employees and administrators to effectively use the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solution via ensuring availability of respective trainings and platform documentation
- Communicate the progress to both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with SIP Team to achieve sustainable project and product growth
- Develop Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes for data preparation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical field or a related business discipline preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Consulting, Enterprise Software Implementation
- Business/Technical Process Analysis experience required
- Prior experience with Query Based Languages and Relational Databases required
- Prior experience and/or working knowledge of variable incentive plan administration preferred
- Prior experience with ICM Solutions (Varicent, Xactly, Callidus or others) preferred
- Experience with Agile/Scrum Framework preferred
- Good understanding of deployment techniques and change management
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and partners of different backgrounds in a multicultural environment
- Customer-centric ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs at every stage of the product development
- Ability to adapt to evolving and changing processes
- Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt expertise is a plus
