About the team:
NinjaGlobal is the Cross Border subsidiary of Ninjacart. With the help of its Exporter network developed across multiple countries like USA, Poland, Italy, New Zealand, Peru, China, Trkiye, Chile, Egypt and South Africa. We specialize in the supplies of Fresh Category products like Fruits and Vegetables. We aspire to democratize the Cross Border trades with the use of data and technology.
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented professional for the role of Sales Head - Imported Fruits. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing key importer relationships, handling a sales team, and ensuring smooth execution of imported fruit business operations. The role requires strong market understanding of imported fruits, quality assessment knowledge, and expertise in B2B sales and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard and manage relationships with Indian fruit importers and key customers
- Drive sales and business growth for imported fruits across target markets
- Handle end-to-end selling of full container imported fruit consignments
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and channel partners
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure product quality standards are maintained
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and quality teams for smooth business execution
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue and business targets
- Monitor market trends, pricing, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Negotiate commercial terms and close business deals effectively
Requirements:
- Proven experience in selling imported fruits
- Strong understanding of fruit import quality and inspection processes
- Experience in handling B2B sales and importer relationships
- Team handling and leadership experience is mandatory
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage high-value transactions and container-level sales
