Position: Accounting & Finance Executive ASP Servicing

Location: Ahmedabad

Department: Finance

It is an extension of NoBroker, a trusted real estate platform that helps users buy, sell, and rent properties without brokers. NoBrokerhood enhances community interaction by enabling seamless service discovery and communication among neighbours.

We are looking for a skilled Accounting & Finance Executive to manage accounting tasks related to the ASP (Account Service Provider) and servicing aspects of NoBrokerhood. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong financial acumen, and the ability to handle multiple financial tasks in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Receivable (ASP):

  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes for services offered on NoBrokerhood.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for.
  • Follow up on overdue payments and resolve payment discrepancies with service providers and clients.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and other financial documents.
  • Analyze financial data to ensure accurate reporting of business transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.

Service Contract Management:

  • Review, process, and maintain records of service contracts with vendors, ensuring terms and payments are compliant with company policies.
  • Ensure accurate billing and servicing documentation is maintained for NoBrokerhood service providers.
  • Track payment schedules, payment terms, and resolve discrepancies related to service invoices.

Tax & Compliance:

  • Ensure that all financial operations are compliant with local tax regulations.
  • Support in the preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and other statutory filings.
  • Maintain proper records for auditing purposes and coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Expense Management & Budgeting:

  • Assist in preparing the companys annual budget, focusing on expenses related to ASP and servicing.
  • Track and manage expenses related to services and operational activities.
  • Provide insights into cost-saving opportunities and financial efficiency improvements.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other teams (e.g., Marketing, Operations) to ensure financial data is accurately captured for all service-related activities.
  • Assist in the financial planning and analysis of different service-related projects within NoBrokerhood.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate current financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices in financial management and ensure compliance with company policies.

Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (CA, CMA, or ACCA) is a plus.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, preferably in a tech or service-oriented company. Experience in managing accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and vendor relationships.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial software.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) is highly preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
