Department Overview:

Role description:

• Domestic Stock Loan Middle Office function, with a focus on Recall management, Buy-in’s, contract compare, excess management, Reg-Sho 204, exception management, and operational risk associated with the business.
• Ensure all firm deficits and CNS fails are proactively communicated to the desk for coverage
• Ability to work as a proactive member of a fully established Equity Finance team.
• Must have a fundamental system knowledge of Loanet and DTC. Equilend and BPS is a plus.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

• Minimum of 2 years Stock Loan Trade Support experience

Get Hired
• Knowledge of marked-to-markets, billing, contract compare, and security static
• Knowledge of prime-broker, short coverage, excess management, settlements and the lifecycle of a trade are a plus.
• Networking and strong relationship building are paramount. 
• Knowledge of DTC, and Loanet are necessary. BPS, Gloss, Equilend, and Pirum would be beneficial
• Potential associate should have, or be willing to obtain a series 99 or 7 license
