Property Analyst

Role Overview

The Property Analyst supports real estate investment opportunities from initial deal screening through closing. The role focuses on financial underwriting, market research, acquisition and due diligence support, and coordination with lenders, brokers, and internal teams.

• Underwrite residential and value-add real estate opportunities and build financial models to evaluate ROI, cash flow, DSCR, leverage, and exit scenarios
• Analyze purchase price, rehab budgets, holding costs, and sale projections
• Conduct market research, including comparable sales, listings, rental analysis, DOM trends, and submarket performance
• Prepare investment summaries, deal memos, and document assumptions, risks, and analyst notes
• Support acquisition and due diligence activities, including inspections, title review, and deal tracking through closing
• Assist in preparing lender packages and coordinate with lenders during underwriting and closing
• Maintain acquisition trackers, underwriting sheets, and internal comparable databases

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree
• 0-1 year of experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals
